Vous croyez certainement que j’ai un poste fixe à l’hôpital…vous vous trompez. Je fais parti en réalité de la classe des contractuels, entendez par ce terme barbare que je signe un contrat chaque année avec mon employeur, une sorte de CDD. Je suis donc virable à chaque échéance annuelle et cette situation se répète depuis près de cinq ans maintenant. Mais ça risque de changer dans quelques mois…enfin !
En début de semaine, je me suis vendu au marché de Rungis. J’entends déjà ici les parigots me lancer en pleine figure que j’aurai pu les prévenir et que cela aurait pu être une occasion de se rencontrer mais bon…j’avais pas trop le temps là ! Pourtant j’étais la classe incarnée en city wear avec la cravate en prime…faut dire que j’ai peu l’occasion de la nouer mais force est de reconnaître que j’étais plutôt pas mal devant le miroir ce lundi matin avant mon entretien. Rendez-vous à 11h30 dans une espèce de conglomérat de bâtiment industriel tellement glamour que c’en était insupportable pour mes cellules rétiniennes…et mes souvenirs de la dernière décennie…même endroit que mon concours d’internat. Comme je suis stressé (ça se voit pas mais je suis un faux calme, ça bout à l’intérieur), je suis arrivé 1 heure en avance. J’ai présenté ma convocation accompagné d’une pièce d’identité à la gentille dame de l’accueil. J’étais le 4ème candidat à passer. Direction Saint-Tropez. Chouette je reviens à peine de vacances génialissimes qu’on m’envoie direct dans une station balnéaire…j’ai longé le long couloir impersonnel aux murs jaune pisseux datant des fastes années 70 en croisant sur ma route Porto-Vecchio, Sète, Montpellier, Bonifacio, et encore plein de villes méditerranéennes et je suis arrivé à bon port à Saint-Tropez devant une porte de bureau administratif où trônaient de véritables chaises de jardin pour candidats angoissés. J’ai causé avec une polonaise de Brest. Puis elle a été aspirée dans cet espace inconnu peuplé de 4 individus. Elle fut recrachée au bout de vingt minutes, le sourire aux lèvres. Elle m’a expliquée qu’ils ne mordaient pas, qu’ils étaient dociles et à l’écoute. J’ai encore attendu quelques minutes et ce fut mon tour de rentrer dans ce bureau où je devais me vendre. A l’intérieur mon jury impatient m’attendait. C’était encore 1970 inside…PowerPoint n’existait pas…des transparents pour rétroprojecteur en guise de support de présentation…
« Bonjour j’suis Poussin….j’suis très compétent dans mon domaine…j’suis indispensable au bon fonctionnement du service…des diplômes ben oui….Bla Bla Bla… » Bref je me suis fait l’écho d’une étude marketing très élaborée. Ils semblaient très intéressé par mon job. Ils ont posé des tas de questions, cherché les moindres détails…et puis au bout de 26 minutes, je suis sorti satisfait du travail accompli…je venais de passer l’entretien nécessaire pour espérer être inscrit sur une liste d’aptitude qui pourrait si tout ce passe bien me permettre de passer d’un D sur mon contrat à un I et d’être ainsi enfin titulaire de mon poste hospitalier. Je venais encore de tester la lourdeur de l’administration française en participant à mon troisième concours de mon cursus médical…
