J’aime…les Gazelles !
Non je ne vais pas virer ma cuti, je vous rassure…Passionné d’automobile, objet de désir pour certains, objet utilitaire pour d’autres, je ne voue pourtant pas un culte aux courses automobiles ou tout autre rallye. Pourtant cette année, je suivrai avec assiduité le rallye des Gazelles 2009 qui a débuté le 14 mars et se terminera le 28. Tout simplement pour une équipe que je connais bien, en particulier une des magnifiques gazelles de cette édition toute neuve.
Elles osent relever ce défi. 15 jours en plein désert, pratiquement en autosuffisance. 1ère participation, aucune expérience en navigation. Mais pourtant elles ont la gagne, l’envie de prouver leur bravoure, montrer qu’en y croyant tout est possible. L’organisation fut difficile. Trouver un véhicule. Convaincre des sponsors frileux de l’intérêt de cette magnifique course où la plupart des participantes sont des amatrices mais qui au final se révèlent être particulièrement doué dans un domaine souvent réservé aux mâles, les vrais les virils.
Rallye utile au sein de l’association des Gazelles où partage et solidarité sont les maitres mots, le fil conducteur de cette aventure féminine. Partenariat avec le gouvernement marocain pour mener à terme des projets ambitieux : assurer l’accès au soin de la population la plus reculée du pays grâce à la caravane médicale, aider à la scolarisation, aide à un orphelinat…
Alors cette année je vais les suivre. L’équipe 106 en Isuzu Trooper.
